I hate you! Just kidding! I paid $170 new for that scope. It's a great scope. You will enjoy it. Mine sits on my AR2078 and it really works well and looks classy. Nice find! (Hmm, maybe it's time to check out some pawn shops around here. You never know!)
Yep, etched glass reticle, illuminated red and green, 4-12x50. Just looking on their website retail is $179 so I'd say it was a fair deal. I was going to mount it to my Hornet until my new gun gets here but the I need high mounts for it and I don't have them. I'm pretty excited nonetheless. If it works you're in business - cheap! If not, Hawke has a lifetime warranty. It may cost some shipping but it's still a good deal. You might contact Hawke about your intended use. Although the Hawke Sport is airgun rated, the IR is not recommended for some (or all?) springers.
I've got one, good scope. Get the "high" mounts 'cause of the 50mm.
