bulk tank needed

I really want a M-rod in .22 or .25, what type of tank do I actually need? the mrod will be the only PCP I'll have. Ive seen people with $800 carbon fiber tanks that expire and aluminum tanks that don't and are a lot cheaper. I just really don't want to over spend,I did see a guy that purchased a used nitrogen tank rated at 4500psi that was about 4ft tall. He did not mention how he gets it filled.

aluminum or steel will still be heavy but you can get a used carbon cheaper. I brought used CF tanks 200.00 that was just tested so 5 years. Al or Steel over time will have to be retired also. a steel or Al may max out at 3500psi my steel is 3500psi while the CF's are 4500psi, and at 200.00 and 5 years before the next test it's still a savings. I brought a steel and soon discovered that's not going to cut it with a .177 mrod so I grabbed the only CF's the guy had.
you may want to check out your local PB shop or dive shop for used equip. I personally prefer to buy from a shop as they won't sell you something that is a liability. as for nitro, I'm not there yet.
