That was going to be my thought also, just make a wooden check piece. Looks like a good after market add on. Even a possibility of a Tyrolean carved cheek piece.....hmmmm..now if it had an octagon barrel.Also consider that a MSRP of $700 will probably sell in the neighborhood of $575.00. If you want to be first you will pay more. lol. Also when the Remans come out they will get the price down a bit more.DT
