ive been offered a FWB 603 for 400euros used, is this worth it?

thats 550 US dollars. Im sure if i can get it 50 bucks cheaper it coming home with me. Im going off to see it tomorrow

I use a 601 that belongs to my club, but id definitely like to have my own comp rifle.

At that price, with the sights, if it is in decent condition, I would grab it.
I think a 603 in good condition would sell for about $1k in the US.

I found it on a "flea market" website, its a hub for ads that people post. When i saw it my heart stoped, the price was negotiable! I searched the web and was blown away by the high prices these 603's go for! I paid 500 bucks for mine, and it is in nearly mint condition. It looks good for its age, its made in 2001.

I was in the market for a diopter for my FX Cyclone, but when i saw this beauty, and the price i got - i bought a diopter and got a great gun to go with it

ill just swap the diopter to the cyclone and who knows, i might scope the 603

go to www.targettalk.org and check the buy,sell,trade section.
They pop up every once in a while.
There is a guy in LA who brings them in from Germany, and he lists it there.

That is why I told you to get it. You got a GREAT deal, at the source.
Jim has to pay people to find the guns and ship it from Germany to the US, and probably duty, hence his higher price.

BTW, you do know that the 603 has a recoil absorber that makes it recoilless.
