crosman "22"

I have a old Crosman 22 pistol that is 40+ yrs old or older. I can't find a model # on it all it has is crosman "22" on the barrel the other side is Crosman arms co. INC rochester. N.Y. USA I have the charging tank that it came with. I have not shot it in 37 yrs now. Any info on it would be helpful.

The Crosman models 111,112,115 and 116 had a charging cylinder. Go to this link and click on Crosman pistols. Scroll down and find the numbers I just showed you and you will get more info.

   Thanks Mudduck 48 it is a model 112 22cal. I don't know where I can get the cylinder filled with liquid co2. It might be more of a pain to shoot than it's worth.  Again Thanks to all.

If it has the old  faucet looking twist top on the cylinder, I probably wouldn't use it to fill.  You can get a modern co2 tank and fittings to work with that pistol, try Mac1 or Bryan & Associates.  These are pretty common, not a collectable unless new and in the box, so you might as well shoot it.  The 112 and 116 are the .22 cal models, IIRC, while the 111 and 115 are in .177 cal.  THe 112 is the longer barrel version.

You might need some adapters, but most fire extinguisher places fill co2 fire extinguishers. Might try the fire department and ask them.
