Hello, I have been shooting a Sheridan Silver Streak for over 50 years. As a kid, I had lots of frog legs and all the dove I could eat from this precision machine. Due to an out of control squirrel population and higher residential density, I had to upgrade to a more productive solution. 8 pumps between shots was just not cutting it and too much noise scaring the neighbors. I selected a Benjamin Trail NP .22 and then discovered I needed to learn a lot of new stuff, so I started looking and found this site. How to shoot a springer, pellet sensitivity, all the technical stuff. When you are a kid, you just start shooting. You don't need instructions.

Hi, Harry. Welcome to the GTA!! Springers require a technique which differs from that of the multi-pump airguns you grew up with. Those are still around. If you like that feel, I suggest a PCP rifle. Otherwise you're doomed to a learning curve like the rest of us. In either case you are certainly welcome here. This site caters to all kinds and brands of airguns - it's an equal opportunity addiction.
