Recommended airgun smith to re-blue & rework and old rifle

I have and old BSA Cadet from the late 40's or early 50's that was my dad's when he was a kid and then mine when I was a kid.  It still shoots good but would like to have it re-blued and then just a general going thru to make sure it is up to snuff.  I would like to put it back into service and give it to my 9 year old girl to learn how to shoot.  Before it starts training a 3rd generation how to shoot I want to make sure I don't put it in its grave.  Thanks.

Are your sure you want it reblued?  I think in it's original form it would have more value, depending upon what the value is at this point.  You may want to go over the metal with a coat of Balistol to protect it, but anything beyond that could have a negative impact on its value.

Thanks for the lead.  I will pm NCPackrat after the holidays.  I do understand a total redo of the rifle could hurt the value but I never plan to sell it.  I dont belive it is worth all that much anyway.  My dad and I both have talked over the years about bringing this deserving rifle back to its former glory.  It would be nice after 65 years of service to make it like new again.  Parts will continue to get harder to find so if I can replace those that are really worn and then totally refinish the rifle it would be good for another 65 years.
