A week ago there was a 760 on AA that I couldn't pass up.  It came yesterday and I'm glad I got it.  Shoots well and IMO looks good.  Previous owner resealed it and cleaned/painted it.  Looks pretty good to me for a refurb.  I'll have to open it up one of these days but just going to shoot & admire it for now.  Already thinking about a bolt O-ring.

760's are so much fun. Easy to pump, very quiet, reasonably accurate with pellets even with a smooth bore. No worries about ruining the rifling if you choose to shoot BBs. I keep mine next to my workbench for quick close range shots at house sparrows robbing the bird feeder. If a poll was taken I'll bet more boys had a 760 as their first air gun than anything else. Parts are still available for the first variants from Crosman.

Nice! The 760 was my first airgun. I got lucky enough to get one in the early nineties when they brought back the rifled barrel for a short time. I remember it being pretty accurate considering my lack of experience. Man, the things I shot down that poor barrel. Near the end of its life I remember cutting down the barrel and stock with a hack saw.
