Hello everyone.  Been reading stuff in this forum for a while, and decided it was time to become a member, and ask questions, or contribute what I can.

First question here from me.

I purchased an Umarex Blackhawk Elite from Fleet, and considering I come from a LONG army background of shooting M16's and Ar15's, this gun seems relatively accurate at about 25 feet.  The stock scope leaves something to be desired though.  So I was looking to upgrade the scope.  The one I was looking at is the Leapers UTG 1" 3-9X40 AO Mil-dot RGB Zero Locking/Resetting Scope

I have read a bit about this one, and was thinking that for a Springer like mine, it would hold up, and work well. 

For now I'm just popping targets at about 25 feet since that's all the room I have here, but once it's nicer out, I will have more. 

Is this something that is doable?  Or is it a lemon?

Leapers and Centerpoints are well-liked by most airgunners.  Buy it from a place with a good customer service record and you will have peace of mind if something goes wrong with it.  I have both and have had good service from them.

Leapers is generally a solid choice.  Confirm the specific model is in fact airgun rated.

Here is the scope I've been looking at.    UTG 6-24x50 AO, Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 1" Tube   This is directly from the Airgun central website.  I thought UTG was made by Leapers.
