No not the least bit normal but we tech types will always dwell in the twilight zone of "Normal" society. I enjoy marching to my own drummer and enjoy learning from the best of the best. So I will continue to support the sale of Advil and Motrin while reading these threads

To balance the "Geek Gate", I think we need a "For Dummies Gate" for those of us that need pictures, illustrations, videos, and step-by-step instructions (something akin to the old cartoon based Army Manuals)! 

I'd like to add that we are also the same folks that don't understand why we had to change to "Common Core Math"?  The old way still seems to works fine for me...

Yes, definitely a thank you to David for giving Bob and myself this opportunity.  If you look back at some of our earliest threads (2011) you can see that Bob and I have been heavily into the science of airguns and into airgun fabrication, usually with a twist, for quite a while. We go back even farther than that, but both joined the GTA in 2011. As with most things, it often is more enjoyable if you can share your ideas with others who have a curiosity or appreciation of the subject, too.  You might say that Bob and I play well together, our strengths and weaknesses seem to fill in the gaps for each other. And most of all, we really love doing this. The GTA is a great place to learn and share. Thank you, everyone.
