I have a brother that is one of the luckiest people I have ever seen.Ever since I can remember he has always been lucky.We were talking about pellet rifles and he was telling me about his $60 rifle.He went to a sporting goods store and was looking at guns and saw a brand new pellet rifle for $60 and went to check out with it and the checker started to have a fit about the price and the manager said "Sell it!!!" I was asking what kind it was and he said it was a .177 RWS Diana and was brand new.He didnt know what model it was right then but he sure got a heck of a deal!!!!!

  A lock down scope mount costs half of that, so he got the supreme deal of the month, and possibly of the year with that buy!!

I would be cautious of buying an adult air rifle at a "Sporting Goods" store. Seals probably already damaged from cocking/shooting without a pellet. I have seen it too many times!

find out what store. im in springfield a lot. clip here on gta is there too. we all like great deals on guns. as for the nay sayer , any Diana for $60. new even with a broke spring is a deal. the lowest priced Diana ive ever seen is a 34 for $275 current prices

Well I learned a little more about my lucky brother's RWS for $60.That lucky sucker got a .177 RWS 350 Magnum.It was a return in a wrinkled up box.He said the sales clerk was really shocked at the sticker price.

  Sounds like the Bass Pro return store. From time to time I have seen returned air rifles there. I never saw that good of a deal though.

Yeah.   That's the beauty of having a major chain store close by.   
If you frequent them, you'll pick up some pretty good deals.  I always look for a major chain in the area, when I'm traveling.  If nothing else, it beats sitting in your room watching the TV     He's bought a handful of power that he'll need to really work at to master...but for the price, he's got (at least), great "trading stock", if it ends up tooo much for him.  Congrats to him!

I feel so sorry for your bro!      If you ever see a gun deal like that, run away!  (And do warn me with exiplicit description, directions and, if at all possible, phone number of sellet!)  Cmon folks!  Warn him off a  $60 Diana?? Spend more time in the shops and classifieds beforehand.
