i must say its the ruger black hawk a rws34 clone u can get a refurb for 69 bucks and new less than 100 on some sites.

I think those are two great choices.  Sometimes you can get the Techforce guns for less than a hundred dollars too like the TF 99  However, I'd think the Air Hawk would be the best choice just because of so many after market parts for it and how easy it is to take apart.

Depending on what and how you want to shoot...

My vote goes for a Daisy 953 for plinking and casual target shooting (after you put on a decent sight which pushes the total above $100).

  Could easily see the blackhawk being a great deal on a good gun, but i've never tried one.

 Another mention would be the great deal on quest rifles in Bargain Gate, $60.00 or so, including a scope. Good gun.. great price.. J

i say the 1377 is a good deal at 45 bucks at walmart you mod to your lifes delight and they are fun to shoot and capable hunting implaments also

There are a few places where a Ruger Airhawk can be purchased for under 100 bucks.  I think that would be very hard to beat for reliability and dependability.

lol correct with the 1377 shoulder stock it can be a rifle so are we nitpicking this?
i know you dont like crosman but hey for the money spent under 100 bucks you can have a 1377 carbinr/rifle thats a good shooter

im not nitpicking. the guy who started the thread might have gotten confused by throwing a pistol in the mix. and i do have 2 crosmans. as392 and a e9a .22. i forgot that i also have a 2100. its all good

im thinkin a 392 might be nice just havent convinced the wife yet lol
i bought to many powderburner pistols lately
but yes it should be mention that its a pistol BUT can be made a rifle easily

While the phantom is a good ag I have to question the trgger out the box less than 100 bucks ,69 bucks for a refurb and a sweet and powerful shooter I must go with a ruger .now for a .22 cal I have to say a b.25 but like most chinese airguns some are good and some aren't out the box .

Yea the trigger is NOT the greatest VERY gamo like to be honest BUT it takes a tuna trigger if you dont want to work on it and to be honest after a few spring tweaks and some adjustments my sons stock trigger feels pretty good, little long but its pretty light very smooth and predictable
