I have had a 631 for over ten years, and it's great. It is built like a tank, and is very accurate. I regularly break toothpicks at 10m with it (scoped). I believe the manual says 575 FPS or thereabouts; mine is at about 600 FPS. You won't be disappointed.

I have a couple issues with the 631.
#1, it is a LONG rifle. It is quite a bit longer than my other rifles, and when you are short (like me) a long rifle become clumsy to handle.
#2, the rear sight rail is NOT a standard 11mm rail, so you need a special scope mount to center the scope. A Tasco red dot with an integral .22 mount ends up being offset to the side of the barrel.
But for shooting, no complaints.

I bought ordinary 3/8" dovetail rings at Cabela's when I bought the scope - as you can see, they've been in service long enough for the anodizing to fade. The scope stop is another ring purchased on clearance at Walmart and cut down. Instead of a hole, the Slavia has a series of grooves. A vertical setscrew engages one of the grooves, and the scope stop is fastened to the rear scope ring with 6-32 machine screws.
What I have done to the gun is all on the exterior. Inside all I did was de-burr, polish, and lube. The only mods that were really necessary were to the trigger guard and to the barrel latch. Those parts were plastic, and eventually cracked/broke. It is indeed a long gun, but I guess I have gotten used to it.

Just the one.
In case you're interested, here's the manual:
http://www.czub.cz/zbrojovka/cz-manual/Instruction-Manual-Slavia-630-631.pdf
I owned the gun for several years before I ran into a Czech speaker to ask what Česká Zbrojovka (CZ) means. I was hoping for something exotic like "death to the capitalists" but it turns out it just means "Czech Arms."

@geewiz
I beat you, I'm 5'4"
As for barrel length, that does not necessarily mean more accuracy. Some times a shorter barrel is more accurate in practice. Example for the FWB-65, they actually shortened the barrel and had a more accurate pistol. The logic was the pellet spent less time in the barrel and was thus less affected by shooter movement.
What a long barrel is good for is to get the most push out of piston, presuming that the compression chamber has enough volume to make use of the barrel length.
Also it gives a longer sight radius for the iron sights, which gives more accuracy. But if you scope the rifle, the longer sight radius makes no difference.
@Slavia
That is one cool looking 631.
What do you shoot? It looks like you have your 631 set up as a target rifle.

@ac12: Your comments about barrel length, accuracy, sight radius, etc. are correct. With the scope I could chop the barrel, but I'm reluctant to mess up a good thing. As for the "target" setup - I don't compete. The Slavia is my 10m basement gun, and it evolved over several years to match its purpose. Sometimes I see something that looks interesting, and then find a way to make it myself. Other times I find a junked piece that tells me it wants to be an airgun part. For example, the butt hook is a bicycle brake lever. The cheek piece is a pancake griddle. The palm rest is a piece of stair rail trim. The muzzle brake is a paintball barrel.
@geewhiz380: The American airgun market is all about FPS, which is unfortunate. For basement shooting, smooth and accurate is more important to me. It doesn't take much power to punch paper, explode aspirins, or smash a toothpick, but you have to be able to hit them first.
I take that back - hardwood toothpicks are easy. The bamboo ones need an atomic blast before they break.

It sad that they dont import these nice shooters out here in the u.s. however could they be compared to any other g in the market thats imported presently ? i would have liked to have purchased a few but now im gonna have to keep a close eye on the classifieds and if one shows up i would be more then happy to buy it ...You are very gifted i would had never ever thought that bicycles parts
,kitchen tools, 8)or household parts could be part of a ag
..like they say what people consider junk is another persons treasure and this is one great example
..thanks for sharing Slavia ...jorge

I got a 630 BNIB and home tuned it... basic cleanup, sleeve the spring and preloaded spring before reassembly... mine shoots 660 fps with JSB 7.33 gr. It is unbelievably accurate (i sold 3 R7 already... but the slavia still here) and is very quiet. I can shoot it all day out in the yard and if you do not look into my yard you would not know i am shooting. It has taken 2 squirrels already (23 yards and 31 yards) and it was very easy to work on... you 'll love it!!!
