would you mind taking a pic of your front sight, and how you made use of the weed eater string for your sight? I have been trying to figure out ways to improve the sights on some of my cheaper rifles that have less than desirable sighting systems. lol

well it was just to raise it higher. i well try to post a picture later. Basically i cut a peice to the proper length. Then using thick CA/ superglue i put a layer on top of site. From there i used tweasers to hold the string in place. i came back then on sides using thin CA and accelerator to make sure it was sollidly mounted. One that was done and dried i used some white out to paint the tip to make is visable due to the particular string being a fadded ligh green which bleneded in to easily.

From a post I can not find, I followed a suggestion to use
Shoe Goo type adhesive to glue thin strips of black plastic to
raise the front blade sight on my Crosman 766.
Worked good.... and probably easier to remove if ever needed.
Just my .02 worth...ds
