My benjamin 392 is shooting way high, it has sence i first got it. i am shooting CPHP. The gun is completly stock. i noticed tonight that the stock screw was loose so i thightned that up. Could the issue be the crown or barrel. i have had for 2 or 3 years know. I always have just aimed low but thats starting to bother me. Couls shooting a heavier pellet like the JSB 15.6 grain pellet help?

the crown could be the problem, try pushung a pellet through it with a wooden rod, or other soft material, and examine the pellet, to see it of there is a deeper gauge on the top of it, to check that, or just examine it with a magnifying glass. also, this may be a dumb question, but can you adjust your sights??? lol

What type of rear sight do you have? The Williams peep is known to shoot high on 392's even when adjusted all the way down. If you have the Williams you can file some material off the underside so it will adjust down lower. Another option with any type of rear sight is to glue (epoxy) something to the front sight to make it taller.

It it the williams. Whats the best way to file off materisl. Also is mounting a pistol scope a bad option.

they make clamp mounts to allow mounting of a riflescope on that rifle, but from what i understand, it makes it a bit tricky to load pellets once a scope is mounted. the first link's, mount is a bit higher, to give more clearance. hope this helps. but personally i would modify your sights to make them work as toomaker suggested.
