HW95L or R10 Santa Rosa

Ok now help me with my dilemma;

So as I expected the HW95 is a superb gun. Here is my dilemma, I have an R10 .20 Santa Rosa, with the deluxe stock in excellent original condition. It may need a kit or a tune as it shoots under 12 foot lbs. and it is not as accurate as I would like, probably a tune would take care of that, and the selection of .20 pellets is limited. I think I can get a good price for it because of its nice condition. Help me with these 3 options...
1..Should I keep the R10 and buy a HW95 and shoot it stock?
2. or sell the R10 and get a HW95 and use the money from the sale and have the HW tuned?
3. Or just get the R10 tuned and shoot it.

I currently shoot an unkitted, stock TX200 and it shoots great, but it is very heavy for offhand which is my preferred way to have fun.

Thoughts?

lots of options! first off I'd would not trade or sell an R10 for a 95 the R10 is better made! now you can up grade your R10, you can buy other barrels for it, lots of tuning parts out there as well JMO

I have to ask(not fishing or stirring a pot or anything) which do you think is the better, nicer gun?  I know you cant really compare accuracy as the r10 may not be up to snuff.  Just looking for an unbiased opinion.

Myself ive not owned an r9 or 95 but have a 177 San Rafael r10 and a .20 Santa Rosa r10. These are simply amazimg shooters.

JMO but I look at the build of the rifle the R10 is also known as the baby R1 because is shares the screw off end cap like the R1/HW80 which IMO is a more robust build then what HW builds today in the R9/HW95 series guns nothing wrong with the R9 guns but if I had the choice I would pick the R10 anytime + the R10 has a bit more spring spacing then the R9 which to some means nothing

As you can see DuckFish, there a story behind the R10.

A guy was watching a funeral procession. There was a hears with a flower covered coffin, a man with a dog on a leash walking behind, then a mile long line of men behind him.

Yup keep the R10 around, tune it, good barrel scrub, crown touch up, trigger clean up etc ... letting it live in glory another 30+ years before needing to be looked into once more

  Listen to the Guru's they will almost always steer you in the right direction and if they don't it is because they are lusting for your R10 Sounds Fishy to me

Did you remember to order the bicycle pump with it?  . I shoot with George and he shoots one of them Mrods and he is always tired from pumping the pump.  Are you sure you want to do that?   he told me it takes 12 pumps to just fill the little hose that connects the pump to the gun.  See my tears?   . They are actually sweat!  And he doesn't shoot as good as the TX and the Duck!  Usually!  Sometimes! Well he is pretty good.

  Joe is a real character gotta love his sense of humor I just wish I could have thought of it first  Still can't wait for Tuesday and the Fedex Santa. And yes Duck guy I ordered the Hill Pump this way I get to bend more than my elbow when I shoot at least until I decide wether I want to go all in and then Showbox in garage with other tools. Once George gets his breath back he'll shoot just fine . It;s hard to shoot well when puffing like an old steam engine pulling up a long hill
