I was talked into buying a Sheriden Bluestreak this week

A friend was thinning out his collection this week and found a lot of rifles and guns he had forgotten buying.
He put an add up on a UK forum I frequent I asked him had he any Crosmans the answer was no but he had a pumper I could buy. Now I'm into my Crosmans so I said no but he persisted and sent me the following pictures.
I still said no so he told me how much I could buy it for in the UK this is a fantastic price for a Racine built C series Sheriden Bluestreak rocker safety with scope £120. This translates to $190ish so I broke I had to buy it. When I finally got my hands on it I realised what a bargain I had the wood in great condition. The bluing is near perfect I have the rear sight in a bag attached to the rifle and the scope is nice and clear.
I took her to my 10 meter range today fantastic must gave put 90/100 pellets through her what a tack driver. Pumps easy takes 8 pumps easy in England normally have a blow off valve for our 12flb limit I took her to ten pumps and she didn't blow of (must get that looked at). Didn't have to touch the scope it put the pellet where the crosshairs met

nice catch and being in the uk .20 cal is no prob.
the racine guns iirc don't have the blow off valve b/c they were pre regulation.

That's a nice looking rifle. It's a good thing for you that he twisted your arm until you bought it. I have no clue about the regulations you have in the UK but if it being pre-regulation means it's grandfathered you hit the jackpot. Find the heaviest pellet you can get and your Sheridan will lay some serious smack down on what ever you shoot with it. Read up on the Sheridan rifles before you clean it because the bore is brass alloy.

My son's 397PA is a fantastic shooter. These are great rifles.

I have a number of 20 caliber pump up air rifles. My rocker safety Sheridan 20 caliber is my favorite. You got a good one.

Nice rifle. I love my 392 and 397. Took plenty of critters with both. Always wanted a .20 to make the family complete.
