Just starting out

Dad got me a gamo big cat 1250. Started looking today for a quieter rifle to shoot in my backyard. Thinking about getting a daisy 953. Read that they're quieter. I'm pretty sure I can legally shoot in my backyard, I just don't want the neighbors freaking out. Seems like today if you point your finger like a gun you can get into trouble.

Anyway, I am more a reader at this moment because I don't know much about the sport. Figured I'd better learn some before I open my yapper and look like a dummy. The only reason I'm posting is cause I have to in order to be able to read posts haha.

Any advice on a quieter rifle that's not the daisy 953 or Benjamin marauder would be appreciated. Or anything I can do to quiet down my gamo would be cool too.

Greetings and welcome to the GTA!!  Instead of being "pretty sure" you can shoot in your back yard I would advise checking the local ordinances.  That way you don't have to worry about the neighbors.  You should investigate a decent backstop as well.
