Troop 603 and Grace UMC is sponsoring an air rifle "tournament" on Nov 9th, beginning at 8:00 AM. This is open to the public and all ages. Boy Scouts can work towards their Marksmanship badge by attending some of the classes being held on site. Pellet rifles will shoot at 10M and BBs will be at 5M. Loaner rifles will be provided and lots of prizes will be given away. Only $5 for adults and $4 for 12 and under. Location is 627 Taylor Rd, Greer, SC. This will be an informal competition geared towards fun for all ages and shooting abilities.

Looks like I may be making a trip to the Upstate in a few weeks...

Gotta check my work schedule...

Oh well, just checked, I will be working that weekend, may need to see if I can get someone to switch weekends with me.  We work 1 our of every 3 here so it would just be a matter of switching with one of the other guys...

  Me and my ten year old son will try to be there! He's a pretty good shot. Not sure where he gets it from. Is this free hand or from a benchor or what?
