Just saying Hi...

Just joined (well, a couple of weeks back but not had a chance to get online since!) so thought I'd say hi & introduce myself sort-of...

Anyway I'm Dan, from the sunny land of England (honest, it isn't hammering it down out there at all... ) and my current guns are a Crosman 2240 .22 pistol and a less powerful but plenty accurate enough & much more fun Umarex/Walther CP88 .177 pistol...

Generally I spend most of my time just plinking in the garden, taking out old cans or bottles although I do shoot a few mice/rats at a friend's workshop with the .22 & I'm considering looking into modifying the CP88 to see if I can squeeze a bit more power out of it & maybe work out a setup where I could plumb in something longer lasting than 12g cartridges, but we'll see...

I think that's about all you'd really need or want to know about me but if I'm wrong then *(&^ just say so

I over modified my 2240, and now it doesn't fire at all. I think I have located someone on this group that can repair and tune it. Longer barrel, stronger spring, new valve, etc and it worked great - more power at the cost of fewer shots per each co2 cartridge, but I stored it too long with a co2 cartridge installed.
