Busted out the F1 Chrony/Mrod and put #50 shots over it with 14.3 CPHP

It seems to be shooting a little faster than I remember. My settings might have moved some.., But I am happy with how it is shooting so I do not plan on checking if they changed.

I also took out another crow today using these pellets @ 40 yards one mil dot hold-under...I should steal crowpoppers' name the way I pop these things .

Nice numbers and look at the # of shots. I'm having a hard time with mine, my accuracy went south.

What adjustments did you make?

Sorry to hear about the accuracy, what pellets are you using?

metering screw- 3.25 turns out from bottom  (counterclock)

Hammer spring- 1 full turn out from MAX ( counterclock)

Hammer Stroke- 1 full turn in from FULL (clockwise)



I have been using this tune since before I even had the chrony, copied it from someone online with a .22 mrod

This tune is good for Barracudas for 34fpe

Nice string of number's CitySniper, "IF" you ever decide to let that #50 go give me a holler as it would make a nice set with my #51 pistol ("if" I ever let the pistol go I will holler to you first also).

Was that #50 P-rod or a 50 shot string on an M-rod?

Unc- Sorry for the confusion...It is NOT a first 100 Rifle or Pistol.. But I took #50 shots..


Jay- I hope one of these days I will have a P-rod too, My mrod is already Black to match.

That's some very excellent strings.

Your strings from your .22 M-Rod is better than my .22 BSA Scorpion T-10 using the same pellets you used....I never played around with any of it's settings.

You've got 35 shots in the 900's vs 21 from my T-10.
Then you've got 14 in the 800's vs 23 from my T-10.
I continued shooting till I got to shot 70:
From shot 45 to 64 I was in the 700's = 20 shots.

That's cool Bro. my fault thinking it was the serial #50 Mrod.("hey" I had hope you would sell hehe). After seeing your stock re-done I believe when I get one I'll have to go that way(if the wood is not to pretty) as I could picture it there with your rifle an they would match up nice.

Thanx Gamo, I think it is just Newbie Luck with the settings. Just downloaded a Graph program from the A-team website to enter my shot data into which was really fun to do. Also I have been using Chairgun Pro the past couple months which has just made me a better shooter..cool to use technology in this sport. All that is missing from my kit is a rangefinder

Jay- It's all Good!, But you know I could never part with my baby. I've taken like over 10 crows this year with it out to 70 yards, and a jack rabbit on the run at 40 yards. she is a shooter, I doubt you'll wanna sell that Pistol once you get to know her better

Had some to kill today and ran a graph for your shot string.
Looks like things level off at 2700 and hold smooth to 2150

Which is around 40 fps spread if I ran it correctly.
