Just found out last week I'm having a girl as well! Seems to be in the water!! This will be my 3rd girl and I have a 1 year old son.

ha, I always thought that a woman made a better shooter than a guy... my wife can outshoot me even on my best day...

I learned that way back when I was helping coach the Rifle Club in High School. We had a few gals in the club and they could out shoot half the Varsity rifle team, but back then, girls weren't allowed on the team.

And shopping for them is made somewhat easier if you teach them to shoot !  I not only picked up gift cards for their favorite stores, I also picked up four boxes of Winchester AA target loads for each of them as part of their Chrismas presents. The boxes of shells get wrapped up with a gift card for a day with Dad, redeamable when they want, on the Trap , or skeet field at my Gun Club.

To keep it red and green festive for Chrismas, I bring some Remington shells too !

Having a daughter doesn't mean it has to be 100% girly stuff !!!!

when i was a kid my dad stoped inviting my mom to come out and shoot with us cause it wasnt even close! she'd take the old ruger 10-22 and take us to school!

how my wife is... hand her my Savage Stevens model 200 in .243 winchester, NIkon 3-9x prostaff scope, CHEAP federal 100 grain soft points,, and at 50 and 100 yds, she'll one ragged hole... i pick up the same gun and can throw .5 moa.... but not as good as her... hot barrel, cold barrel... it doesn't matter.
