It shouldn't happen. I've left my Marauder aired up and stored in my gun safe since I bought it and it's never lost any air. From what I've read the most common area for a leak to to develop (and also one of the easiest to fix) is the pressure gauge. I've never had to work on my pressure gauge so I'll leave further directions/suggestions to GTA members with more experience than me. I'm sure they'll chime in soon

If it was easy it wouldn't be hunting it would be shopping.

It could be a number of thing's at this point? Maybe pump it up some an look/listen for the leak, use some soapy water on the place's where you can wipe down an re-oil(gauge,fillport an such) to check for slow leak detection.

Hmmmm My first Mrod Held air just fine...My current one when I first got it back from Crosman had a couple leaks.
First Leak I found was at the Fill port ( easy fix, either tighten down til leak stops. Or remove and reapply teflon tape and install)
Second leak was at the Gauge..(bad Gauge) air was leaking through the gauge, called crosman again and they sent me out one.
after installing that new gauge it still had a leak around the threads...and by then I was perturbed! A couple more careful turns and it stopped.
it holds air just fine now...... You'll get it, good luck.
p.s. Like someone said above...use soapy water to find the leak. but after you find and fix it, wipe your gun down with oil wouldn't want rust anywhere on the mrod. I'm fighting rust on my bolt handle
