2240 and CPHP

 I have severe feeding issues with CPHP in my 2240 every two or three shots and the bolt won't shut, is there some kind of QC issue with CPHP? I have two tins of 18gr Polymag and they feed fine but their a little on the expensive side for paper.

my 2400kt does that with some pellets.  i never really paid attention to which one(s) as i thought i just pushed the probe at an odd angle.  i will have to pay attention to see which ones do it to mine.

I have never had a problem with my 2240 and hps or domes, 

they arn't catching on the breech screw are they

Do what Ed said and check to make sure they're not catching on the breech screw. If that is not the problem, I have noticed that some CPHP with slight larger head diameter need an extra push to seat. Just push a bit harder and see if it seats. Hope this helps.

Noticed yesterday that Superdomes were jamming in my 2240.  Switched over to cphps and they slid right in.  Might just be sensitive to head diameter.

Well guess I need to order some different brands of pellets and try them out in my 2240. Airguns are just "weird" seems like each gun prefers one brand of pellets and need to be touched a different way. 


Or at least that's my excuse for buying more pellets.

You might want  to try a different tin of CPHP's. Different die might fit better. My 2400 has 1 brand of pellets that fit so tight I can hardly shut the bolt.
