curious: on mine the top of the reciever is squared off & made of plastic, some in the pictures have a round reciever made of metal, is this a difference between year models or wher rifle barrels have been fitted to the pistol frame ??
Thanks for the reply, I realized what it was after poke'n around on YT & found a video of a guy change'n one out, the guy mentioned something about he couldnt use the bolt to cock the spring & he had to pull a plunger from teh back of the reciever to compress the spring, is this an older 1377 he used in teh demonstration or a nessasry add on ?? have'nt noticed it on any others tho.
Mike, I am concerned that the threads will accelerate wear on the pump arm linkage. It would be much better to cut a short piece of 3/16" (smooth) rod and thread the ends to accept the acorn nuts.
The weak point is not the tube. The holes will elongate in the pump arm linkage, not the tube. A hardened precision ground pivot pin that is kept properly lubricated will do more for the longevity of your pump linkage than will any threaded machine screw.
Replaced my roll pin on my 2289g.Two 10-32 bolts 2" long=10 cents ea. cut to fitFour 10-32 acorn nuts, nickle plated=14 cents ea.the extras are for my 1377 pistol.
Haywire...by chance you make'n the pins tha cool look'n front sight to sell ??
I think I had seen somewhere at one time, where a guy had drilled the linkage a bit larger, then used a brass shoulder bushing in the linkage, with a solid pin.
Can anyone tell me how to get registered for the Crosman pistol owners forum? I keep getting:An Error Has Occurred!Sorry, registration is currently disabled. Thanks!Bill in SC
