IZH-60 or 61?

Im looking to get one of these for plinking and basement winter shooting.  So my question is which one do have/like and why?  I was leaning toward the 60 because of review of the pellets falling out of the magazines.  But PA has the 61 refurbished for $20 less.  So dont all chime in at once but looking for some owners to step up and give me some good decided info

If the pellets falling out of the magazines will be a problem, maybe get the single shot version. My 61 is an older version with the steel receiver and metal magazines. My magazines holds the pellets maybe too tight, possibly presizing them before they enter the barrel (this may be the reason for occasional flyers out of the group). The newer 61 have plastic magazines and if they hold the pellets loosely, it's another problem. Otherwise, either model are fun to shoot indoors.

I pikced up a 61 from PA a few months back and I cannot put the thing down.  The pellets do like to fall out of the holder but to load it with no issues just hold the gun muzzle down and slide the mag in.  I like the 5 shot version and I picked up 4 extra mags.  Only thing to watch is there is not stop when you fire the last pellet so you can dry fire the weapon.  Best to count your shots and I marked my mags with a white paint marker so I know when to stop when I see the white part sticking out of the gun.  My 61 is very easy to cock and quite.  I shoot it at least 4 nights a week indoors at 10M in to a duct seal trap.  Mine likes the R-10 7.0 pistol pellets.  Great choice on either of the two rifles.  lots of fun to be had and oh ya the silly little things are accurate.

I just received a 60 and like madmullet I can't put it down.  I also had a difficult time deciding between the 60 & 61.  Don't think that you could go wrong with either.  Both have a high "fun factor" and  are very accurate.  Only run about 500 pellets but so far My 60likes CPHP the best but SuperMags are a close second.

I also have a 61 old version with metal receiver.  I have not experienced pellets falling out, however, I always point muzzle down when loading.  I do not have any problems with my 61 and I like the repeater function for training my grandchildren.  It keeps little fingers out of harms way.  It is very accurate with possibly the best trigger around.

Loading a pellet in the 60 is rather easy.  Simply set the pellet in the loading channel and push the pellet in the barrel with the loading rod.  After 50 shot or so the whole loading process is pretty quick.

I have a 60.  Since I shoot target rifles, I specifically got the 60 to eliminate the magazine as a possible factor in loosing accuracy.  The single shot loads like a bolt action rifle, right into the breech.

However, I can see loading the 60 with a scope over the loading port could be a bit tricky.  For that, the side loading clip of the 61 seems a better idea.  I shoot my 60 with a short red-dot sight (but may put a diopter sight on it later), so the loading port is open and accessible to my fingers.

It is a nice rifle with a GREAT trigger.
I wish I could put that trigger on a couple other rifles.

Otdered the 60 today from PA. Probably be here Thursday.  I also ordered a NcStar red dot reflex from Big Supply.  IDK if its gonna go on the 60 or not might keep it with the iron sights but it will never go to waste here. I will find (or buy) something to put it on

Came today but I had to leave as soon as it got dropped at my door. So i have not unboxed it yet. My ncstar reflex red dot came also. Ut same deal with that. Maybe tomorrow afternoon they will get unboxed. I have fire prevention tomorrow morning with my volunteer fire department (fire safety first ) then play time for me

Shot it tonight maybe 10 rounds or so.  The O-ring on the end of the bolt keeps hanging up.  Idk if the bolt is lose because there is a little bit of play in when the bolt springs back.  Is this normal? Or is mine faulty?  You almost have the lift the tip of the bolt up a little the get the o-ring passed an edge or something.  It shoots really nice other than that.  Any info anyone has would be cool.  I will try to post some AG porn tomorrow

Seems to be getting better. Something must have had a slight edge that is working off.  Its really hard to put down. All i wanna do is shoot its great

You're not the first person to say that.  There is no o-ring on the 61, wouldn't think the 60 is different.  Look at the exploded diagram & the parts list.

I have an IZH-60.  The o-ring seems to gelp seal the breech. Its smoothing out. Here is a pucture from my cell phone (sorry for the poor quality) at approximately 10 meters off hand iron sights with milk carton Crosman Wadcutters 5 shots

Try this.
#1- Load a pellet and note the feel of the bolt.

#2- Work just the bolt (no pellet) and see if you feel the same "bump." 
If you don't feel it, that bump could be when the pellet is being shoved into the chamber.
