Robert,There is a FWB 300 group on Yahoo.I do not know how active they are. It has been a while since I was there, but there are a few quite knowledgeable guys that can help you with questions. As for the sight inserts. A post insert might be hard to find, as the 300 were for target shooting normally done with aperture inserts. This is not saying that someone did not make post inserts for it, they might have. I just do not recall any.On your other post, I pointed you to Champions Choice as one source for inserts. It has been a while, so I do not know who else carries inserts for the 300.Yes for target shooting, you really want a target trigger. As good as the 300s trigger is, the latter rifles have even better triggers.Yahoo Group is not very active but if you post a question you will get replies.Tip.Pull the 300 FIRMLY into your shoulder when you shoot. This allows the sledge to properly recoil, to give you the recoilless feel.
