What to take to the range?

Besides the gun and ammo what else is a good idea to have at the range? and mabey some pictures of what you carry and how it is carried..

The range I go to for shooting powder burners requires eye and ear protection. I also take a cleaning rod to clear a jamb and few assorted screw drivers, just in case.

 I've got a fishing tackle box that is filled with all my shooting stuff, tools, lubes, rags, cleaning rods, scope mounts etc. In addition to that i'll take a canvas drop cloth for the shooting bench top, ear and eye protection and a spotting scope/bino's for any long range work.

Now that is a hard question Boonie.All of what airgunandy said except I keep a gunsmith bit set also with the other driver's(really a complete small tool box over all),jeeze let's see, a spotter scope(binoc's work fine)to see the tiny hole's(on my pb range you shoot for 20 min's before taget change's),a BLANK load of target's(shoot-n-c are nice),a shooting mat(blanket work's),shooting rest & bag's,staple gun(for target's),hand wipe's(or at least water to drink an rinse hand's),a snack to keep energy up. Boonie I really can't put down all that will end up in your range bag over time it is endless,I have no way of posting a pic. for you yet(wish I could),put my range bag is a boat bag from bass pro that is 3 1/2'x2'x1 1/2' on roller's.Just start with the basic's in a box an you will grow from there.

Tcups u are surely are prepared with all essential necessities,this thread is more of a learning lesson to me and im glad to have stoped by ...the only thing i carry is a hammer,nails,targets,glasses,pellets,two airrifles, one screw driver,im 44 and have alot to learn about airguns .......

Here is the only certainty I have learned:  Whatever you take to the range, it is inevitable that when you get there for a day of shooting, you will have forgotten something you turn out to need.  It does go without saying that you need some sort of range box to put gear in.  Perhaps more than one.

YEP TCup's got one of them also just for S.A.S.S,except mine is a small covered wagon LOL. I really enjoy the new Wild Bunch shooting they are doing now(1911's instead of single action's).

Boonie, you wont believe where I got this at!! You ever heard of the guy that goes to the dump and comes back with just about as much as he leaves? Yep, I'm that guy. I saw it sitting there after I backed up, and asked the guy working there if I could take it. He smiled and said," Take what?" Then he left. It was somebody's craft box. I cleaned glitter and stuff out of it.The deviders were all there and everything. My wife just rolled her eyes. That is an old picture. It is more organized and has tons of pellets and more gear. The brand is ZAG.Made by Stanly. I tried to find it on line but couldnt.


[ Once I actually went over the scale 200 ish pounds heavier than when I came in!! I couldnt see tossing perfectly good firewood logs away. They were cut but not split.They went from his truck to my truck. The lady at the scale said, and I quote," I dont know what to do. Your heavier now than when you went in.That's never happened to me before."

Can anybody recommend a good spotting scope that is good for the money. I would like to spend less than 50.00 for one. I did find one off ebay for 19.95 + shipping but it was a utg brand and i have never heard of them..
