The 48 is not near as hold sensitive as any of the breakbarrels. That's the prime thing that converted me...my consistency jumped up immediately. I actually set one directly on the bag and grouped well with it. Can't do that with a 34...or most B/Bs. Everyone who owns one, will tell you how well the M48 balances in hand and shoulders quickly.I've had both calibres and sold my .22, after seeing how well the .177 JSB heavies did. You won't be undergunned in .177. The cost of pellets is the only thing I see. You're personal choice
