Slightly off the topic of lubing, but here's my 600 update. I just received a replacement cam ring from Precision Pellet, so I was able to put my 600 back together tonight. The new cam ring fit very tightlly onto the rod hat goes through its center, so I put some polishing paste on it and slid it back and forth about 100 times. That seemed to do the trick. The next problem was that the pellet transfer thingy was not lining up with the magazine, so it would not feed pellets. I was able to play around with the set screw that holds the loader to the rod and get it to line up and load. As for pellets, the only ones that worked without jamming were (no surprise) Crosman wadcutters. H&N Sport and RWS Hobby did not work. I plan on buying some Daisys or else the Webleys that several readers recommended.
