Well, to be honest, I teach astronomy part time so it is not entirely a hobby.

Track day riding, or as my wife calls it 'not racing'.

Motorcycles are my predominate interest.

It used to be competition shooting (Small bore rifle and trap) but it just does not interest me the way riding has and does.

Gas powered r/c off road racing. I currently race 1/8 scale nitro buggies. It is very addictive and competitive, also it cost a good deal of money. I started off just playing around in the hobby and now after $10,000.00 invested over 6 years it is fairly expensive as well. especially when you have a 4 day racing event out of state. My other hobby is watching my 2 little girls enjoy there hobby of English riding at horse shows, also another expensive hobby. to tell you the truth I do not think there is a cheap hobby out there anymore. lol

Duel sporting,  hiking, wind generators, steam power, HHO generators,  micro hydro generators,  welding, prospecting gold.  Anything that has a turbo, goes fast and is dangerous.  I'm in.

Fishing.  These days, mostly for bream with the kids- but I really enjoy night fishing for big cats.  I also enjoy hiking and exploring along the river... Usually leading to finding better and harder to reach fishing holes.  I prefer to do my fishing as far from other anglers as possible

I like to fish too, and I have a fish story for you. Except it is more like a lack of fish story. I have been fishing 6 times in the last two weeks and I have not caught anything. They are my most productive fishing holes too. That is all.
