Name- Bryan Heimann
Gun/Sight- Benjamin 392/ Factory ramp/blade
Pellet- Eun Jin 28.4 grn. Dome
Position- Standing/off-hand
Distance- 10 yards (whoops, should have measured meters I guess. Does it still count? Is there an equation I can use?)
Date- 30 Aug 2013
Indoors
Score- 168
Other- I re-zeroed at 8 pumps using 6 o clock method right before I started the match. Then I took a short break, and started the clock. I didn't think fatigue would be a factor, and I didn't know I would be rushing against the clock to finish in 20 minutes! I just brely got my last target in with a little over a minute remaining. Guess I am looking for excuses, shame on me. Can you tell when I started rushing, and when I started to get my bearing back?

Hello Pellet Hunter .22,
The procedure or formula to convert from yards to meters is X (yards) multiplied by "0.9144" equals meters.
In answer to your question, "Does it still count?", it will be accepted this time but in fairness to the other competitors, in the future, it is 10 Meters.
Let us just keep having fun and it will all work out!
Brett
PS Your target is pretty hard to read.

This time I put a red background behind the target and scanned it in. This has worked the best for me so far. Much better than pictures.
A friend of mine is coming over later today to participate in this too......hopefully.

10 meters is 33ft 9.6" so if you measure off 33ft 10" you'll be legal.

Great......does this mean that Ken and I have to split the prize money?
Good shooting, Ken.
Where has Spencer been? Hope all is well for him.
I changed up my hold this week, and although I didn't shoot as well as the previous match.......I liked it. I think it will prove to be better over time.

Lol.....thanks.
I'm curious about why so many participants choose the large target formats that require 4 shots per target.......compared to the ones that only require two?
I have a hard enough time scoring sometimes with 2 shots on a target.
Doesn't seem like anyone is really using the outer real estate of the big targets.

Hi mike
Good shooting!
I agree with your target choice, what size paper do you need to print it?
I will print some for the next match.
Nice to see a few more participants..

They are just standard 8 1/2 x 11's like the others.
One thing you guys should check is that your targets are actually coming out to the size that they are supposed to be. When you are preparing to print.....you will see an area that says "print handling". Make sure that the scaling type in this section is set to "None".
Brett clued me into this on the 30 yard match forum......as my targets were printing smaller than they were supposed to be.

I like using the targets with white 9 and 10 rings when I'm shooting a scoped rifle. I do like the format better with 10 plus 2 practice targets, and I would prefer to use that if one had white centers. There is an awful a lot of black that doesn't get used so much, but drains printer cartridges quickly.
I really have a ball shooting on the GTA matches.
Thanks, Brett -and the other moderators - for your work in keeping the matches going!
