Action Pistol ??
« on: August 07, 2013, 01:05:40 PM »
I'm getting interested in FT and BR and in following some links to past events I see that "action Pistol" is sometimes done for fun.
What guns are people using for this? It looks like a reload is part of the program so I'm assuming pistols that use a clip are mandatory for quickness.
Any specific rules for these?
Pictures?
We will probably attend a NWA_BR event later this month.
If there are any Washington State guys reading this get in touch and We'll touch base.
Thanks

Adjacent to the range where we hold our FT matches is a Cowboy Action range. They had a huge match going on a couple of weeks ago and it looked like fun. The "sheriff" asked if any of their action ranges could be used for airgun events. I'm now thinking that something like that would be a fun activity to hold the Saturday afternoon after day one of the next Western States Field Target match. We could use CO2 revolvers like the Crosman 357 in single action mode. Just a thought.
