FWB 65 ten shot groups

These army first four ten shot groups with the FWB 65. Target was exactly ten yards from the muzzle. After the first group, I adjusted one click right. After the second, I adjusted two more clicks right. After the third, I adjusted 4 clicks up, and after the fourth I decided it was zeroed good enough for now. When I was shooting the fourth group, the black background of my pellet trap was in my sight picture and made it diffucult for me to get proper sight alignment, and I think that is why my spread was more horizontal. Also, I turned off the ceiling fan for the fourth group. I don't know if that is why, but the vertical spread was a little better. At ten yards, the .5" bull was barely visible, just a fuzzy black dot. I am resting the pistol on a winchester rifle bag, shooting with open sights. The ammo I used was 7.4 grain Crosman pointed pellets. The only other .177 ammo I have are 10.5 grain domes, I figured it would be better to use the lighter pointed ammo. I may need to try some better ammo, and a bigger target. groups range from about 1" to 1.5". Here are the results:

You will get better. Get some good wadcutter (H&N) pellets. The expensive ones. Good luck.

I shot another off hand and got about the same results, so i took a closer look at the pistol and I realized that the trigger adjustment, which slides with the top half of the pistol, is in contact with the rest. I will shoot some more just resting the grip of the pistol on the ground and see what happens.
