Buddy of mine gave me (lol, temporarily) a couple guns to look-over and see what I could find-out about them. The old Daisy (bottom rifle) from what a quick internet search shows was made from 1965-1974 under the Diana Brand. I found one for sale at 95% for $60, so not a lot of value, but still a neat old piece.
He told me he'd got it when he was a kid, about 40 years ago, and the trigger had been lost. After cleaning-up the remains of a chicken coop that had burnt, they found the trigger, pretty lucky IMHO. It's a break-barrel, and still fires. I'm re-gluing a split forearm, and straightened-out a bit of bent metal around the trigger area before returning it to him. Wish I had some BBs
The other rifle (I hope is OK to post along with this one) in the 1st pic (above) is a Garcia Bronco made by Firearms International Corp, Washington DC. Shoots .22 S-L-LR, and has a twist to load breech (which the forward trigger releases). Looks like value is $50-90 (poor to fair condition). Another neat old piece. The trigger is locked, and from 1st guess, the safety has malfunctioned, so I'm going to see if I can do him any good in fixing it. Be a neat-old nostalgic shooter.
