How accurate is it?

Thats the deal, using boxed CP 7.9's its one hole at ten and just gradually opens up to a quarter covering the shots at 40 yards.  No other break barrel I have shot helps me keep it in a rabbit's head area offhand as well as this gun.  I'm a big believer in having a gun on hand that gives repeatable results with little fuss.  Keeps your sanity when something else just won't group, this and the HW30 with peep work that way for me on break barrels.

It's good to have a solidly accurate "go to" gun when you begin to doubt whether or not you can still shoot well..

My little 2008 model R-7 .177 is like that.  It dotes on lubed CHPs.. When I am on top of my game it will do .25" CTC 5 shot groups off the bench at 25 yards.. Shoots scary accurate offhand out to about 40 yards as well. I bought mine  for $300 in  2009 and it's the best $$ I ever spent on an airgun. It's getting a custom stock built for it as we speak.

Well the TX200HC is a fine price if work. Best I have seen in my airguns.  It out of the box shot great. Did have the twang after several shots.  But anyone that can work on a gun can fix that for no money. I have a sprung kit for IT but it needs nothing.
The HW80 WILL BE HERE FRIDAY. YES!! SPRING KIT AROUND THE SAME TIME. I elected to use Jm on this one. His seals and all.  I am going to check this gun out very good prior to looking in it. Any twang will be addressed as the TX was. My guided and my lube. If that does nit satisfy me then the kit. The .20 caliber is one if its own as the .25 is. I can address all the Small thing's.  Major findings and I will come unglued and back it goes. All I need is a good sound power plant and a starlight barrel. The rest is easy for me. I find things on all guns that are just not to my liking and from there I make it work my way.
So bickering over the small stuff is a waste. Bad piston seal now to me is just nothing. Go buy a new vehicle.  I bet money there will be something that is not right to you. Bought many new and to this day there was always an issue.
Prime example this week. 2008 Ford Harley F150 Super Charged. Bought new 12/ 2008. The truck to date has 21, 000 miles on it. The alternator exploded on it yesterday.  Literal slinging metal all under the hood What are the odds of that???

Yes I have been informed by one of the best of the gun. I have researched it as well. Many things and history out there to back them up as well as parts. This is the reason I choose this gun. Got many dollars invested in DIANA and love them. But there are other guns I want to experience and this is one of them. I was turned on to the .20 caliber a while bake and made my own. Love them!! Like the .25 not for everyone. But now I will have an HW80 with a factory .20. Still not and L&W barrel but that can happen later if needed. Just not allot of people left that can re-barrel guns or will do it. I have and I will do it again. The Bam B40 is going to be the next. Not a premium gun but a good clone and doable rebarrel for me.
So thanks for the info and I will LET know what the HW IS ALL ABOUT. YES!!!@@@@$!

for you... diana its half price of a hw isnt? for me... directly from germany... its other story!

a HW97 its half price of a Diana 54... thats why no1 in portugal buy dianas! some have "older models" but no1 buy news!

Diana are still a premium gun here but they offer the 34 as a competitor to "world" class entry level guns.  The 54 is up there in price with comparable HW guns here.

and thats why you mates choose diferent models of airguns... than us! we NEVER buy dianas... too expensive. the 56 its near 700€ ( 900dollars?) thats what we win... during 4 weeks.. alot more than a good AA pcp airgun....

Where do you live, and what do you pay for a good precharged AA rifle?

i needed a part, a very critical part, for my Beeman RX.

i went thru an aurthorized dealer...it took a year to get the part...

  A bit late getting back into this convo folks, sorry about that.

  I bought my Diana 54 and my 48 both from AOA.

  The fellow that I talked to on the telephone was very friendly, tolerated my questions and answered them all to my satisfaction. (His name currently escapes me).
  I did have to wait approximately 5 minutes to speak to someone, but that wasn't a deal breaker in my book.
  THEY said that they would shoot both rifles over a Chrony and give them a once over before shipping. I didn't inquire whether they did this or not, they offered it up front with no goading from me, and they did it for no extra cost on my end,and I received Chrony tickets for both rifles.

  Not disputing or nay saying, just adding my .02 to the info pool!!
