Weihrauch has increased quality control. As long as you don't get old stock, it should be fine. I have been getting mine from ARH. Jim brings in small batches. I just got a 57 that was perfect. Not even a nicked seal. They have even lightened up on the grease(still too much but not bad).If you want a Beeman branded HW, rumour has it that the authorized users of the Beeman name have not renewed the contract with Weihrauch so....
Mike, I believe it has more to do with Standards as a whole...this new generation of workers does not posses the work ethic of their predecessors..The old timers are gone....couple that with the increased demand for product, Likes of which is unprecedented, and you have a recipe for trouble. As for workers being assigned components... Then it is a total systems failure when the one who is set to finish the tubes sends the product to the next stage of assembly and they too allow an unfinished product to be built as a complete assembly. After all... the guy stuffing the pistons in the tube has to notice the tube isn't finished properly.JMTCW,Petey
well that use to be true! HW's are now on most people's not to buy list as a new gun! HW has been turning out allot of bad guns in the past few yrs and their QC has gone down hill! bad triggers, rusty compression tubes, bent barrels and the list go's on I'm sorry to say a once fine company has slipped away!
