air arms s200 how to fill the tank.

Hi im new on the forum and just got me a cz200 pcp air rifle and have no clue on how to fill the tank.Could someone let me know what do i need to fill the tank and were can i find it.

Believe the AA s200 (or CZ version) uses a 200DIN thread.  Most of the US is set up for the 300 DIN thread. 

So you need something that will let a 200 DIN air tank thread screw in and have a fill nipple on the other end of it.

The original CZ/AA fittings are forever getting separated from their guns or not being shipped, and I’ve not found a source for them.   

So, if you don’t have one, you end up building a system.

The one illustrated in the above post is as good as any.

Mine got more complicated, using 3 pieces (a 200 DIN female to 300 DIN  male adaptor, the main body, and a fill nipple) but I had some of the parts on hand so it didn’t cost me that much to put together.


The gauged tanks can only be filled from the rear.  The tanks without a guage can be filled from the rear too.  Discovered I like that system, as I’m a pump filler, and I only have to lie the tank on the ground rather than the whole rifle.

So…if I were you…would contact Pyramid Air and Top gun, tell them what you need to do, and see what they can come up with.

Frankjoseph1986, Did you buy this gun new? If so, a manual, a tank adopter, and a adopter to empty the tank should have came with the gun, or at least my S200 did.

This is what I ended up with, but remembers I already had part of this from an earlier AA s200 purchase.  They forgot to include the fill adaptor in mine, and while PA fell all over themselves to make it right, I managed to coble together this set up.

Had the main unit in the middle. Had to adapt the 300DIN fitting to 200 DIN (the part to the left) and add a fill nipple (the black part to the right).



My other AA s200 fills with the old-old fill nipple (a size they haven’t used in years, but hat gun was made in 2003):



Think is, when I have them both out, will just have the rear of the tank fitting for filling, as the old 2003 gun’s tank will fill from the rear just as well as the newer gauged gun.

Best to find Rapid Air Weapons in Minor Hill, TN get on their site and order the male Foster fill connector for Air Arms  threads.  It's well worth the $25, you'll be able to share air at any competition or air gun club event.  Get an extra for some poor newbie who needs one.
