760 flow through bolt probe

i see there still are 760's out there.
i've read & learned from the many posts here & in other forums. i've used the information i've to improve my airguns.
of the many mods i've done on my 760 & 2100, the latest is a bolt with a flow through probe. besides air leaking in the breech area, the pellets were not seating right. i tried an extended probe. cphp would seat ok, but the pointed hunting pellet would not. now they both seat just right & shoot great.
here's some pics of the bolt probe & a target of the result. i did not keep a before target but poorly seating pellets was just driving me crazy.
the bolt is the stock with the tip cut of & threaded to 8-32. the probe is a tube threaded to screw on the bolt.
the target is @ 10 yards. 760 with 7 pumps @ 600fps with cphp. i did not crony the pointed pellets. there is also the target rubber stamp i used to make the target.

That's a great idea... Thanks for posting... Where'd you get the tube?
I used to get deformed pellets also because the pellet would get caught on the joint between the barrel and the transfer port.

the tube is from our local ace hardware store. brass tube 3/16" o.d. i had to file & sand the o.d. to get a snug fit in the breech. just a fyi...it's been almost a year that i've been messing with this 760. i got a 2100 rifled barrel on this airgun so there isn't the plastic breech to barrel edge where the pellet gets seated.
