Yup, I keep a gamo in my tool box to use as a pry bar. (And it not worthy at that too) Did you just straight cut the barrel on a lathe then clean it up? I was wondering if you choked the end of the barrel down. Results look good! I'm currently working on a friends barrel that seems to have the same issues.

...this was from a powerline after I cut an inch off the barrel and used these grinders from the hardware store to give it a decent crown. It shot every pellet poorly before, but now they fly straight and true. For a forty dollar gun with a ten dollar scope, I'm as happy as can be.
