I found some nice Black/Cinnimon diamond wood at a local knife shop so I went ahead and bit the bullet and took a stab at it. It was a fun project for the weekend. That dam diamond wood is hard as nails though. Routering out the slots was a major pain. Next time I'm sticking with regular wood. It's about 80% polished. I did a quick buff for the pics. I still need to finished with some finer grit and rebuff it.

That was my first stab at making grips. I bought a router/table combo just for this job. First time using a router too. It defintely was a trial by fire. Yesterday at noon both grips were in the trash. I pulled em back out and they were laying thrown across my front lawn by dinner time LMBO. I woke up this morning and found em during my morning cigarette and swore I'd finish them by tonight.
P.S. They were supposed to extend back covering the back of the frame, however, one of the nub broke off when I threw one at the wall out of frustration so I had to break the other side off to match :/
