Crosman 100 - New Find

I found a Crosman 100 today.  Cool looking piece of history but I am having a problem trying to determine how to load a pellet.  The gun pumps and holds air although weak.  Does anyone have one of these and if so, can you tell me how to load.  This air gun has me feeling like a fool.

looks like a 102
should have a tube along side the left side of barrel with a loading hole near the far end
a spring cover slides around for closing the hole
this gun is a gravity feed
when you cock the bolt you will see the pellet loading gate slide left and right
the pellets slide down the tube into the gate when you cock it with the bolt
the gate slides over and presents a pellet when you close the bolt
i bet Google might show some good images somewhere
if not
i can get mine out of the safe tomorrow and take some picts showing it

That's it.  i saw the tube but the end had a pin in it the prevented a pellet from being loaded.  I never noticed the little slide piece.  A strange design but I just loaded and it fires.
