First tag for the TF99 with the old style sights. 25yds up in the fork of an oak. Got enough tree rats for a batch of squirrel gravy over homemade egg noodles.
This thing is a thumper! this one was ejected a good 2 feet from the branch before hitting the ground.

Tomorrow, the TF99 is going to get a Williams FP-AG-TK peep sight. With the quick change front sight inserts it will give me a 30 inch sight radius. Should be a good open sight shooter.

Good shoot bro I just got my .22 tf99 from ed"shadow I removed the from sights and rear and slapped a 2 piece with a bsa 4x32 scope my backdoor gun

Congrats! I have a mendoza peep sight on mine. The only issue I've had is the peep sight can't be adjusted low enough to shoot close.

The thing I've seen with the TF 99 rifles is that they eat springs! Shadow is trying to find us an alternative spring for these things. They do hit hard and are accurate. Maybe it is just a bad batch of springs since my old one is just fine.
I think eating springs is an issue with TF rifles as much as I shoot them. My TF 89 has a JM spring in it now, but I don't think it hits nearly as hard with that spring but it is tons smoother. Without a chrony, I can't tell.

Didn't know that fixed bbls had droop. Besides, I have the rear sight cranked all the way down and it shoots 1/2 inch high at 25.
