CROSMAN .22 POINTED HUNTING PELLETS

hi guys:
my remington npss .22 carbon fiber has had a steady diet of Crosman Premier .22 Cal, 14.3 Grains, Hollowpoint pellets as my favorite, with a good dose of Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum .22 Cal, 14.3 Grains, Round Nose pellets which are very similiar in performance. yesterday i tried a new(to me) one, and boy o boy, does she like them.....i have been able to keep groups about .5'' which is not too bad. a little more, a little less...pretty effective.......till yesterday.
Crosman Field Hunting .22 Cal, 14.3 Grains, Pointed......just pay the extra, and shoot. ok, ok, i know all shooters are different, and yours and mine may be the same, but have variants. with this pellet, i was stacking them from shot 1.
as always, you must do your part, but my double duce cf loves em.
hope they work for you. bob

`For whatever reason, that Crosman Field Hunting pointed pellet shoots FAR tighter groups out of my guns than any other pellet that I have tried yet. Both in 22 and 177. They fly true and hit hard. Awesome killing power for squirrells and other small game. There are still many brands and weights that I haven't tried yet, but so far nothing has even came close.

I need to try them .22 pointed, the .177 just plain not worthy on my shooters.

i just got in from shooting the deer with the cphp and WOW! at 10yds it was one hole(as long as i did the trigger right). i really wish there was something that could be done with the trigger without saftey issues. but i want to try the pointed in it

Thanks for posting this info!.. I just ordered a couple of tin's of these suckers... I'm in about the same boat here with my NPSS .22,.. .5" groups @ 20yds,.. That's just leaning up against the door frame,.. I always seem to be chasing it around the target though,.. not enough confidence to try and get a head shot on a little tree varmant
Grant it I've only got about 200 rds through it at this point, and its in dire need of a CBR trigger and a good tuning (That's all coming soon!) ... but still, I think it should shoot a little truer ...
Thanks
Rick

They group extremely well in my Quest 800. And even though they're pointed, they expand to a little pancake upon impact. Love em, but CPHP's group almost as good and cost less than half the moneyz.
EDIT: Oops didn't realize this topic was a bit old..
