Nice to hear that the rats will have problems.Good hunting.
Sounds like you're going to be having some fun soon.I used to have lots of rats and I shot them all and then we got a cat. Good news is the cat is gone and I just saw the first rat about a week ago. I was elated! I know most people would cringe at the thought but I share the same passion as you and Mister Stefan there Congrats on your shooter coming home soon. I can't wait to hear about your adventures with those rats, hehe.Keep us posted!

I quit trapping and poison and I'm only shooting now. I really believe it's more humane. My year has been thin too but I see the numbers going up soon. Seriously I would just live and let live but they just will not go away and they keep coming. They're like RAT CONG. I can see my family on top of the house with a helicopter hovering overhead to pick us up. Not serious but I swear I don't understand where they all come from.Bryan
Nice! Did you post that damage in the Hunting Gate?

I lived in Norwalk Ct for 16 years and for 10 of those years my house had an underground stream beneath the basement. Did not have an air rifle back then and now wish I did. there was a drain hole about 3" across that was hidden by the oil tank and the metal screen rotted away. needless to say had some pretty large rats getting into the basement in the spring when the water was high. An air rifle would have saved my dobie a lot of work and would have been neater to clean up
