But, Mr. Customer Service Man, I only drilled two holes in it... well, and chiseled out part of the inside.  But other than that, it's just like new!  Really!

Looks nice, and neat... shouldn't affect warranty on the action.
But, generally speaking, a bipod won't help you shoot a springer (including a nitro piston) more accurately than the artiliary hold.
