Need Help! Want to ck seal in TITAN GP..

I have lube tuned the Rs2 and stormxt springers . . unfortunately I put some pure silicone grease [no petroleum base]in the chamber of my new Titan gp..and now want to clean the chamber. and ck the seal...I forgot to put a pellet in one time   boy did it detonate. I and took off the stock But .I'm unfamiliar with the np disassemble..  don't want to experiment on my own in removing the piston to clean the chamber.. ..I'm guessing  that the rear trigger bolt insert has to be unscrewed....but need more feedback please.. thanks

You'll need a safe spring compressor even if it's a ram powered airgun. I know that some rams slip down in and require very little effort to compress enough to screw the bolt in but safety first. The rear trigger bolt does hold the internals in place and once removed the ram etc. will slide out the back along with the trigger and housing coming out of the slot. The cocking arm shoe should be up and out also to slide the piston out the back. You could use a wooden dowel with a slot in the end to except a non abrasive cleaning rag to get in the tube and clean out the unwanted lube but it should be cleaned out with a good degreasing bath rinsed then dried completely with compressed air. Remember you cannot just stick the piston and piston seal back in without the proper lube. A piston seal and other part's won't last long inside a un-lubed compression tube.. James Maccari located in our MALL forum sells the proper lubes to do the job then it's just a matter of applying them in the right spot's in the right amount's. Ed
