Richard, how long did it take to get it,after ordering? I'm worse than a kid waiting for Christmas!

Mr. Wendell, it arrived in the US in 3 days but it stayed in NY Customs for quite a while.

I ordered it July 02 and got it only yesterday, so it is exactly 14 days.

It is worth the wait. It is a very well machined piece and the finish is a very deep nitride black with no pale undertones unlike most metals having this kind of finish.



It is hefty though and very solid!

I replaced the OEM bolt with a stainless button head, which I deburred and polished. Bolts look ugly as is, so I rid them of rough marks/inscriptions from top to bottom. I also refinished the OEM ATI nut.












I always take things to the next level.

My shooting buddies actually hesitate to shoot my guns (powderburners and airguns) because they always look pristine. I am not kidding, lol!

Stripped the pad from that buttstock pouch set up and with a bit of aerospace grade adhesive back velcro attached it. Much cleaner look and very comfortable. Great cheek weld!

Here's the latest version of the 1377 in my stable.  Need to find some better pellets.  Used the last of my Daisy Precision Max wadcutters which both my 2240 and 1377 liked.  The Gamo's available here leave a lot to be desired.  Such is life between the Canal and the Equator.

How did you make that?

was simple really,

i had a couple of skull license plate bolts from my camaro,
they wont fit my tucson so they were just sitting here doing nothing lol

i measured the stock breech plug for length and the location of the hole,
and then cut it to the same length and drilled the hole.

had to take down the outside diameter of the threads just slightly to fit the breech hole,
and also had to take off a little of the skulls material underneath the back so the skull would sit flush and not hit the pump tube cap,
but was very easy to do with a dremel.


i have another im getting ready to do,
so heres what i started with.........

i plan on making some others soon

Thanks.  I wish I could stumble on another 1377 for $40.  I've done the trigger springhy thing already.  Perhaps this summer, I can do some other mods?  I  really want some wood grips and fore end.

Just bought the OLDER style 1377 with the rear-pull hammer on eBay yesterday for $40. Was originally posted around 10 p.m. the night before... these things do NOT "sit" very long priced like that. Noticed you're in the "Piney Woods of East Texas". Hello, Mr. Neighbor. >Palestine<

I'm about to start tinkering with my stock 1377 with upgraded port, valve, hammer spring, metal breech... all the fun stuff. Filed off the trigger guard/ handle seam that these things are notorious for as they come from Crosman in their pot metal form and polished the contact points of the trigger and sear. Allowing the paint to dry on the previously exposed pot metal, the neighbors dogs alerted me to a backyard invader.... and found myself in a conundrum. Ever had game suddenly show up at the most inopportune time? My highly modified CR2240 and 2260 were out of the question not having sound modifiers and waking the neighbors at 3 A.M.... and my pumper 1377, now under "construction" and was acquired for such an event, was "out-of-action." The neighbors dogs (two of them) had confined an opossum on the adjoining fence which was playing a wait game to reach the puppy food on the neighbor's back porch. "NEED" it has been said, "Is the mother of invention", as I quickly unscrewed the wooden handle from the shop's broom, approached the invading vermin, and without compliment of iron sights or a Red Dot Scope, commenced to beating that ugly varmint until it fell off the fence to the dog's great delight and appreciation. Moral of the story: "DO NOT try to modify your 1377 after midnight... one just NEVER KNOWS!"

Scoped my 1377 and replaced the shaft with a 14" Lothar, which I polished:



Those O-rings around the barrel are there to help float the barrel and mitigate sag, however, it does not seem it is sagging though.

Might get a BlueFork band after I shoot it this afternoon after work.

20 yards; 5 shots (it looks like it's only 3 but it really is 5); JSB 8.4g, 4.52 head; 8 pumps; semi squat position with a low table as bench.

It shoots nice! Well it is a Lothar. Might do better on a proper bench table with sufficient front and rear bags.

So shall I install a BlueFork barrel band from HPA Sports! Perhaps I will because Mr. Greg Schutte might cease production of his wonderful products

Will order some Air Arms pellets and compare it against the JSBs.

I really love my 1377 and I shoot it almost everyday  Love the way it looks too, lol!

Also, Mr. Joe, the owner, is a real gent when it come to business dealings.

Regarding my scope, it is a Korean 4-12x Bushnell Engage. Nice thin hashmarks for precision shooting but I find it somewhat busy.

i got scared when my bookmarks showed up with a "404" error LOL

but do notice that the blue fork stuff is the only thing left on the site now.


LOVE my blue fork band, i got the bare aluminum version with no sight.
 
the set screw heads stripped on mine rather easily,
so i replaced the tiny stock set screws with 6-32 x 3/8" stainless set screws from home depot (they cost a whole 62 cents for 2 lol)

works great and fit the allen key much better.
