Well, the preparation for it, anyway. I'll update the thread with the "real" goodies after they arrive, but I'm ready! More to come...

I think that looks really good. After pumping all day today, the shoebox might be a quicker purchase than I thought.

Let me know how yours works out. What part of TN are you in?

Received a few more goodies today. Had a chance to drop by Mayhem and get the Great White filled. I the gauge with two hoses sticking out of it is a bleed block that I can use as a substitute bleed block for the Shoebox. Joe Brancato has been excellent to deal with (surprise) and I intend to write more about the setup after I have a bit more experience with it. Wow - it is so nice to fill in about 10 seconds and have dozens of fills before I even need to think about topping the cylinder off!

Joe Broncato sure has some first rate stuff! Shoe Box is nice too

Are they all open frame or do people just like to watch them run?

I like the simplicity of yours... People leave them open for two reasons - some like to put a fan on the pump, or another if they have the Freedom 8 (it has one built in). I left mine open because I knew I would be pumping for 4 hours and the pump rods need to be lubed about every 2 or 3, so rather than take off, put on, take off, put on, etc. I just left it open. Not optimal, but...

Jesse, Hard to tell from the pic, the compressor looks like a rotary screw unit, generally good for 150 psi. you need to be in the 3000 psi range.

I am LOVING this setup. I've been using the small bottle a lot and occasionally using the Great White to bump it's pressure, then a quick top off in the F8. Then, when I'm out in the shop for extended periods or just around on weekends, I can top off the GW. A big and little tank + F8 combo is a pretty convenient rig for flexibility and maximal laziness and trigger time!

After research I do not think it will work, but my brother in law is a fireman and I guess if I buy a couple scuba tanks he will fill them for me. I also think I will get either a .25 Condor or an FX Independence. I still love my spring rifles and will be using them as well, I just want something for coyotes that want to mess with my livestock.

I had to LOL at seeing the little short section of RR track, my dad ran a small machine shop and when I was a kid I "found" a 3' long section of rail and dad and I snagged it. He cut it into sections about that long intending to make small bench anvils from them, and never really did anything more with them, we had them around the place for the next 20 years, finally went for scrap I think.

Ha... Other than the use it's performing in the picture, I only use it for an anvil and that's about once every 2 years... I just can't bring myself to scrap it, though...yet!

I think I have the same setup coming from Joe (Been nearly a week since I sent him a check and I haven't heard anything yet)...

Can you explain the gauges and what each does...

You'll love it! On the GW: small gauge (the one with the little HAM radio guy on it) always show's tank internal pressure and big gauge only shows the line pressure (when you are filling it or a gun from it) when the valve is opened. On the bleed block/gauge hose, it shows line pressure. I like it for a more accurate reading of the pressure I'm filling the Ninja bottle.

So the one that shows line pressure would start low and when it shows, say 3000 psi, that is how much is in the gun?...
