where did that screw go!!??

I have the Umarex/Walther PPK/S bb pistol.  Lots of fun to be sure, and it's also the first pistol that my little girl had fired.  Since I didn't research the internet and discover the drift pin above the trigger guard which prevents field stripping, I instead removed the tiny screw on top of the slide (in front of the rear sight) which secures it to the workings beneath.  Of course said screw rolled out of hand and vanished upon hitting the floor.  Without luck in finding a parts diagram, would anyone know what size screw this could be and where to obtain?

i'd call umarex and get the size of the screw, then head over to ace hardware,i love ace stores,plenty of screws and helpful people.

Do your pant legs have cuffs?  I so, check in them.  I can't even guess the number of times I've lost a small part, looked all over the floor, and then found the part in a cuff.

Also; for finding parts on the floor, lay a flashlight on it's side and move it around the floor.  The little part can throw a big shadow.

Thanks guys..  Don't recall actually losing it.  Fell out last time I was messing with it and didn't find out till I used it again and the slide flew off during recoil (yay for eye protection!)..  Put an email in to Umarex, we'll see what they say.

Guess I'll just go to Ace or someplace and tinker around with some screws.  Then, in 2 weeks when I get around to actually doing that - and not finding anything, I'll give this lady 2 bucks..

hahaah......Bodie........you remind me of me.lol I have lost so many idy bity screws that I can hear them scrunching when I cross the floor.......but I can't see them. Hey, ...don't give in on the 2 bucks ......make em wait as long as you can.
